How quickly plans go by the wayside! Yesterday was going to try out the Pioneer Woman's Panko Mozzarella Sticks for lunch then have steak, twice baked taters, veg and chocolate lava cakes for dinner. Then about 10 am a friend of ours started badgering us to meet up with her and another friend at a place called The Shady Maple for dinner. So, we did.
The Shady Maple has to be one of the biggest smorgasbords I have ever been to! 4 huge grilling stations, a huge salad bar, 4 hot food bars and desserts galore. They have a huge assortment of drinks including some liquid gold from The Reading Soda Factory. Their black cherry soda is to DIE for!
There is also a Farmer's Market/Grocery store on the complex. Wonderful store. Huge bulk food section, baked goods that were a dream, decent international aisle and whole pigs and even Turducken.
